Kilkerran Whisky
Since Hedley Wright re-launched Glengyle distillery in 2000 (production beginning in 2004) few releases draw as much attention as the Glengyle Kilkerran releases.
Glengyle distillery is located in Campbeltown, and is owned by the same family owners (now community trust) as Springbank (incl. Longrow and Hazelburn) and Wm Cadenheads. The distillery production is quite limited at roughly 100,000 litres in recent years, however the distillery does have a potential capacity for 750,000 litres so it will be interesting to see in the future.
